Outlook 2003 - Word 2003 Send to Recipient

If I am in Word 2003 and want to send a document as an email attachment, I
click on File, Send to Mail Recipient, Outlook opens, shows the file is
attached, but then I am unable to minimize the email and Outlook appears to
be not responding. Attachments work fine if I attach them through Outlook.
This problem only comes up when trying to send from Word. Any suggestions?

Pretty sure that's by design and not a 'problem'. File - Send to mail recipient
opens a modal outlook window, which basically means that window is the only
available active window in Outlook (just like, if you were in Outlook, you
went to Tools - Options, the main outlook window is then locked).

I never liked the 'feature', but it's a design decision.

Either finish the email and send it, or save it to drafts and work on it
later.
