I am running Outlook 2007 under Vista.

After 4 months of trouble-free operation, I can't send and receive mails.
The error code above appears and implores me to call my ISP.

My ISP established a Windows Mail account on my computer and all the mails
came in. So the ISP said, "It is not our problem, it is a problem with
Outlook.

Has anyone a suggestion? (By the way, I have no difficulty connecting to
the Internet.

I am running it with Windows XP but the same problem. It's been running for a
month or two find, and now i can't send or receive emails because of a synch
error. I've been reading a lot of message boards and apparently others have
this problem too, yet Microsoft is not addressing it!

I can tell you what my problem turned out to be, Madam Jenny: There was a
security system, PC-cillin built into my computer when I bought it. An
automatic update to the security software apparently blocked e-mail
transmission. The Microsoft "error message" certainly did not point to this
problem, at least not to me. If you have such protection software, try
totally disabling it and see if this helps. You can always ratchet up to
the protection afterwards.
