Send/Receive button "broke"

My Outlook 2003 Send/Receive button has stopped doing just that. I recall
setting Outlook up to send/receive automatically every 5 minutes but for the
life of me can I remember where I did that. It sends on it's own just fine
but won't receive every five minutes or when I hit the Send/Receive button.
What's up with that. I have to go to webmail to get my emails.

Do you get an error message of any kind when you try to receive? If you go
to Tools | E-mail Accounts | View or Change | select your e-mail provider
and Change then click the "Test Mail Settings" does it work?

Ctrl+Alt+S to get to the dialog that controls the send time. Raise it to at
least 8 min, more if you are on a slow connection (dialup).

When did it stop working? Did you restart outlook or reboot to see if it
starts working again? (If so, it could mean you are doing send and receives
too close together and outlook doesn't have time to complete one S/R before
it begins another.)
