SEND POWER POINT SLIDE SHOW

Hi,
Can anyone answer me how to sent my presentation start automatically when
the recipient opens the attachment? I followed up the intruction to change
my file type to ".pps"; however, it still doesn't work. I have noticed the
difference after I looked at the attachement. The file type is shown as
"POWERPNT File (application/pps)" instead of "Microsoft PowerPoint Show
(application/vnd.ms-powerpoint)". How do I send my attachment as "Microsoft
PowerPoint Show (application/vnd.ms-powerpoint)"?

Thank you!

Rather that changing the extension which can easily cause errors if you dont
really understand it why not save as > save as type = powerpoint show *.pps
(scroll down in the box to find it)

John, what do you mean causes errors? There is no difference in the files,
the extension simply tells PPT how to open the file. Not certain what you
mean here.

ensionI didn't really mean "causes errors" I meant "confuses folk" especially
if the ext is hidden which it often is. I've seen no end of files named
xxxx.pps.ppt and a few xxxx.pss which people expected to open as a show
