Self extracting program load failure

I've been trying to load a self-extracting program into a
XP Pro platform. Everytime I launch the file I get to about
70% install and get an error message:

"The decompression of %s failed. There may not be enough
free disk space available in the TEMP directory"

I've done a search of the knowlwdge base but I can only
find fixes for 98 that don't pertain or work for me.

If anyone can help me I would appreciate it.

Thanks
Mark

Since you don't tell us the name of the program, specific help is
impossible to give. However, try to contact the program's mftr. for
tech support.
