Selecting Multiple Account Email Addresses?

B

Ben

Hi,

I have 2 email accounts setup in outlook 2003. One for work, and one for
home (both pop3).

When I write an email, I want to be able to select which account the email
is sent from. If I select my home account from the 'Accounts' drop down box,
and send an email, the recepient still see's it as being sent from my work
email (default). I have the correct email addresses and everything setup in
the account details, my work account is default, and setup for
(e-mail address removed) and my home account is setup with (e-mail address removed).
But no matter which account I select when writing an email, the recipient
always see's it as coming from (e-mail address removed)

This is a bit of a pain, as sometimes I don't want people to know my work
email.

Anyone know how to change it?

Cheers

Ben

I suspect there is more to this story. You may not have things set up
correctly. Outlook will always send from the account you specify if you
have.
If you have not and all recipients are rejected by the user's SMTP server
(because, for
example, you are not authenticating), Outlook will move on and send on the
next account in the list rather than NDRing the recipients.
