Security Updates

I've been drilling the MSN website for about an hour and
haven't been able to find a way to pose this question to
the MSN Techies, so here goes;
Almost every time I log on, Update downloads and
installs the following Critical Update;
'Windows Media Player Script Commands (KB828026)'.
According to the 'Installation History', it has been
succesfully installed 15 times in the last month or so...
I'm getting a bit perturbed at it using up my cpu
resources and wasting my time..
Anyone have a suggestion on how to stop the redundancy?
