Cannot get realtime protection to stay activated, any ideas?
.

Have the same problem. Used to work okay but now starts
Windows with realtime protection disabled. Everytime I
click on the icon in system notification area, setup
assistant appears. Been through it so many times already.
Even unistalled, rebooted & reinstalling doesnt help.

But only 56 rather than 59 checkpoints--also the older build.

I've got two thoughts about this, and they may seem redundant, but here's
what I'd do:

1) do a control panel, add or remove software, Microsoft Antispyware,
Change, update.
(Steve has a more elegant version of this prescription which I need to grab
for cutting and pasting.)

2) After that's done, I'd also recommend downloading the newer build .509,
which has some useful changes--additional help (see Known issues) and harder
to cancel a scan by mistake.
