Secure site restriction

IE6/Outlook 2003
1 user in 5 user workgroup can not access secure sites. same user can not
now send html mail, txt and RTF ok. Happened abt the same time. Assume issues
linked. Virus & malware scans show nothing. set IE6 to default level, no joy.
Any help appreciated

Cud really do with some help here. No 3rd party s/w installed. Firewall
turned off, no malware virus etc (norton, lavasoft and spybot checked. Hijack
this dont indicate any prob). Have reloaded IE and outlook, still same
problem. Cud it be user profile? I dont know!!

Make sure your firewall is not blocking port 443.

Go to Start | Run and enter these commands (press <Enter after each one).

Many thanks for input guys. Though still no further forward. Had/Have done
all you suggested. Still same result. Even with new user profile get stuck at
secure sites. Appears that when we try to input into html doc nothing happens
eventually times out and as I said same user can not send html outlook mail,
text and rtf mail go ok. html just sits in outbox. Have reloaded both IE and
outlook. No 3rd party addins. Outlook express does send html. Lost this end.
OS reload or a Hammer the next option, unless any more ideas!
