Secure A97 in Windows2000

IT just changed my PC from NT to Windows2000. But we are not yet converted
to A2002, thus they reinstalled A97. I joint the workgroup administrator via
the System 32 file. My systemfile is in the same folder as the databases, in
our instance g:/tables. The securityfile is names systemtrng, located as I
said in g:/tables,
and it worked great in NT. Now in Windows2000 it tells me that I'm joint,
but doesn't prompt me for a login, and doesn't allow me access to my secured
databases. I can get to it from any NT machine, but not from my Windows 2000
machine. Until we are converted to A2002, I need to be able to maintain the
secure databases in my Windows 2000 environment. What went wrong, what do I
need to do?
As always, thanks for your help.

The location of the workgroup information file is irrelevant. It doesn't
matter what folder it's in. It's location is determined by (1) setting it as
the default workgroup file using the workgroup administrator program or menu
option, or (2) using a shortcut of the following format (all on one line):

"path to MSACCESS.EXE"
"path to database file"
/wrkgrp "path to workgroup file"

It sounds like your Win 2k PC is not ideitfying the correct workgroup file
using method (1) or (2) above.

Method (2) is preferable, since it does not affect the other databases on
that PC.

Thanks, things worked out this way, and I was looking for the syntax of the
shortcut key anyway.
