I have attempted to install windows xp on my system.
When I tried to install the os with both harddrives
intact it told me it could not detect an operating
system. SO I removed my secondary hard drive to install
xp. Now it wont recieve the secondary hard drive, it
says it cannot detect and os. I considered to attempt to
install the os seperate onto the secondary hard drive but
won't it then ask for a new product key even though both
hard drives are on my one pc? How do I configure xp to
accept my slave driver with all my files I saved from my
previous windows 98 se? Hellp, I am having a really hard
time installing this os onto my pc and I need that slave
drive to back up my daily work files. Not to mention I
need my files from that driver.
