Search Results Hangs

When I do a search for Files/Folders, the search works OK but when the
search window is closed, "Search Results" still appears on the task bar
- ie it is not closing properly. When this happens, Windows will not
shuut down normally. Ending Search Results in Task Manager does not
end it.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
