Search facility

When is the Search facility going to be upgraded?

Every time I attempt to use it the following message
appears:

"We are in the process of upgrading this site to a new
version, as a part of the upgrade we have disabled search
for this site. In the next few weeks this site upgrade
will be complete, including a new Search with improved
functionality. Thank you, Microsoft Communities."

This message has also appeared in other Microsoft
communities for several months now.

When is the Search facility going to be upgraded?

Possibly never, on the current web interface. There is a better web
interface under development.

If you use a proper news reader (NNTP client), you can have all the search
options you require.

The current web interface to these newsgroups is unsatisfactory on a number
of grounds, particularly when users try to post URLs which get line-split by
the web interface.

Its stinks in Outlook Express, hopefully this will change in future versions
of Windows, IE and Outlook Express.
