When I run the search companion on my work computer and search for a file
that I know is there, and I'm not referring to hidden files, just regular ms
office files i.e. word documents, ms excel documents etc the search
companion states that the "Search is complete. There are no results to
display." This problem only appears to happen when searching my local hard
drive (c, seems to be fine when searching on my external hard drive (usb
connected) at least to-date. Coincidentally when I restart the computer and
run the search companion, it will work fine and I find the file as expected,
however if I try it again a few minutes later, it doesn't find the file and
I receive the same message as before i.e. "Search is complete. There are no
results to display." I'd like to avoid restarting my computer everytime I
do a search especially since I tend to do a search on the computer several
times a day. Any help resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.
