Search companion Type of file -list problem

My search companion's Type of file-list (Search all files and folders -> More
advanced options -> Type of file:) shows only two types of files and neither
of them is not even a Microsoft program file (I have Office OEM installed).
Any ideas how to solve the problem?

I had other (serious) problems with my XP which resulted for example the
whole search companion becoming blank. After repair installation of XP
everything else seems to work fine except that file type list.
