Search and backup

I have files in c:\intuit and c:\progfiles\intuit I need copied (for backup)
to a spare slave drive.

Their file extention is *.QBW. I need to keep the two folders and respective
files separate. (Important)

Is there a way to automate this thru XP Pro? I tried saving searches but
unless I was doing something wrong, search saves everthing in the "intuit"
folder - not differentiating between c:\ and c:\programfiles folders.

thanks.

You might try XYplorer's "Rich Copy/Move".

[from the help file:]
Copy/move find results keeping the folder structure
"Rich copy" is a highly useful feature for archiving file find results: by
this command you can copy/move files to a destination along with the folder
structure that the files are in, ie whatever directories are needed are
automatically created under the destination path. Thereby you get a perfect
image of the files in their original location.

XYplorer has as well several ways to save searches.

It's a shareware file manager: http://www.xyplorer.com/

I use a software called Incrediback for this purpose. It allows me to
backup using wildcards on a preset schedule.

thanks all. in looking around, I found FBBackup that works well for what I
want to do. I can set up profiles with specific directories and file
extensions I want to copy.
