Script Host disabled

I keep getting the message that the "script Host is disabled on this
machine". I have several programs that need the windows script host but I
haven't the slightest idea how to enable the program or even where to look to
enable it. Help :-|

Go to www.microsoft.com and do a search for "scripten.exe" which is the
installer for the script host. Install it and it should fix your problem.

Open the registry editor (Start>Run key in regedit then click on OK or hit
ENTER) and navigate to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Script Host\Settings
look in the right-hand pane for a value named Enabled, double-click on it
and set the Value to 1 or you can delete the Enabled value as it does not
exist by default

then navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows Script Host\Settings
look in the right-hand pane for a value named Enabled, double-click on it
and set the Value to 1 or you can delete the Enabled value as it does not
exist by default

Ensure that you navigate to Windows Script Host and not Windows Scripting Host
