Frank:

Thanks for our reply. I went to web site you mentioned. The suggested
resolution said that the error may occur if the IEPEERS.DL file is
corrupted. I did a search and did not find this file in XPSP2 Home Edition.
The reference relates to WIN 98 & 95. I found another reference in
Microsoft support that said to change THE SPOOL settings. One suggestion
was to check "Start print job so program finishes printing faster and click
Start printing after last page is spooled." The last suggestion was to
check "Print directly to the printer." Neither of these worked. I thought
it would help if I reloaded print driver. Downloaded the current one from HP
but no help. By the way, I am using a HP Deskjet 940c. I am using Win 98SE
on wife's computer and all printing works OK. Her computer does have the
IEPEERS.DLL file.

I am bit confused. Both references say "Cannot Print from Internet
Explorer." But the error msg occurs when I am trying to print an e-mail msg
from Outlook Express. What seems strange to me is that I can print from IE
web pages and all my applications. Any more help would be appreciated.

OE uses the IE print engine.

I have iepeers.dll on WinXP SP2. It's version 6.0.2900.2180, 4 AUG 04, 244
KB. You might try expanding it from C:\Windows\ServicePackFiles\i386
