Hello,

I just installed a screensaver and when I right click and choose
properties and screensaver the screensaver is listed with weird
writing. The entry for the screensaver looks like a picture of a
railroad track. That is what appears were it should say microsoft
bliss screensaver, it has this weird railroad track look to it. I
sacnned for spyware and a virus but nothing is residing on my system.
I am running Windows XP Pro. If anyone can help me I would appreciate
it.

Thank you,

Breck

Breck, did you rt click on the Bliss.scr and choose install after
unzipping the download? What graphics card are you using?

Thanks for your help Rich. I did right click on the Bliss.scr and
choose install. I am also running a nVidia GeForce FX 5200 128 meg
card with the newest drivers. It seems like only the entry for the
screensavers name is messed up. The screensaver still works properly
when I select it from the list off screensavers. Is there some way to
edit the name? When I look for the Bliss screensaver in Windows the
name appears okay. It is just the way it apprears in the screensaver
console. Is there a listing of the screensavers in the registry?
Again, any advice would be appreciated.

I figured it out. It must have been some kind of bug or something. I
went into windows and changed the name from Bliss to Morning Clouds.
Then I went to look at the list of screensavers and the weird writing
was gone and the Morning Clouds listing was there. The screensaver
works great with the name change. Can't figure it out though. Thanks
for your help, Rich.
