Screen show on extended desktop

With XP Pro, I extended my desktop onto a second screen.

Then I opened PowerPoint, opened a PPT file, and moved it over to the
second screen to work on it.

At some point I clicked "Screen Show", and the screen show came up on
.... the first screen.

Why didn't it come up on the second screen, and is there anything I can
do to get it onto the second screen?

(This actually has practical applications -- I tried to use the extended
desktop technique to attach a projector as the second screen - but if I
can't get the screen show to appear on the second screen, then, well,
forget that idea.)

Thanks for any insights,

John

I doubt that anybody's interested, but ... I have the answer. I decided
to post over on the PPT group, and help arrived there. So here it is:

You've found the right place. Welcome home.

From main menu bar, choose Slide Show, then Set Up Show...

Under "Multiple Monitors", "Display slide show on:" choose ... well, I'm
not
sure what it'll call it; the one that's NOT Primary Monitor. Mine says
"Monitor 2 Plug and Play Monitor".

Clear the check next to "Show Presenter View" (or try with it enabled ..
you
may like the result; quite handy)

Click OK.

One thing to watch out for ... if you start this presentation on another
system
that doesn't have two monitors, you may see an icon in the task bar but
nothing
else. That'd be PPT playing the show on the external monitor that isn't
there.
Change it back to Primary Monitor if that comes up.
