Hi

I have seen some difference between XPe and XP Pro. Maybee some of you can
se why.

My embedded PC is using Silicon Motion LynxEM+ graphics chip. It has
hardware support for rotation. There allso is supplid a control panel applet
for controlling the rotation, dualview etc.

But on the WindowsXP embedded image I can only rotate resolutions up to
800x600. All above, there is an error that screen rotation failed.
On WondowsXP Pro, on the same hardware, there is no problem rotating
resolutions of 1024x768 ??

I have dobbelt checked driver versions, registry settings and control
application settings. All the same.

So I wonder if there is some other information elsewhere, that could stop
the supplied driver/control app from rotating above 800x600. Maybe some
installed monitor driver ??..Some registry settings on dekstop ?? ... any
idea ??

I have allso tried different driver version, just to check. Its the same

Hi

Problem solved. There was an setting in the BIOS that made the display
driver deny rotation above 800x600. The LCD interfaced was set to max
800x600.
