There may be a hotkey to do the rotation, which may have been what your
granddaughter did. Try ctrl+alt combined with up/down/left/right arrows
or perhaps the R or L keys. Also try ctrl+shift instead of ctrl+alt.
There may be an icon down by the clock on the taskbar that is part of
your video driver - maybe a red-and-white ATI, or maybe a gold or
greenish one with a spiral swirl on it for an Nvidia card. If you left-
or right-click on this, you may get a menu that has the rotation controls
in it.
Or, right-click on the desktop and select Settings tab, then Advanced
button. Depending on what video card and driver you have, there may be
something like a tab named Rotation where you can change it.
Hint: to make it easier to navigate with your mouse, rotate it the same
way as the screen is rotated and hold it that way. The mouse movements
will then match the screen cursor movement.
