schema has changed - access and sharepoint

I created a sharepoint list on the front end. I'm currently editing the list
in dataset view on the portal.

I did create an access 2007 database that links to the sharepoint list. I am
now getting data conflicts on the sharepoint list. When I try and edit the
table in access I get:

The schema for this table has changed. You must refresh the table.

I did a refresh table and now I can edit the table in access, but still get
errors on sharepoint.

Is there a known conflict of write access with the two?

is there a way around this?

uh, delete the sharepoint list and then re-link it?
