Scheduled scan doesn't run w/o logon?

It sure seems like a scheduled scan will not run unless a
user is actually logged on to the computer. For example,
if a user logs off their computer when they go home in
the evening and the scan is scheduled for 2am, the scan
does not run. BUMMER! Any plans to make this so you do
NOT have to be logged in for the scan to run?

The MS ASb is a program. This means that it will not run
unless you are logged in.

Microsoft would have to create the program so that it can
run as a process before that type of functionality would
become available.

Until that time (which probably won't come), try simply
locking your computer instead of logging off.

I don't know, maybe, but that would mean MSAS would have to run as a service
as I have learned from Bill Sanderson. For now, just have to be logged in or
schedule the scan at a more suitable time.

That I figured ... it's more of a feature request than
quandary. For being "beta software distributed for
feedback and testing" it sure is difficult to identify an
official avenue for feedback as opposed to looking to
newsgroups for community support. :)

I would agree.

I never log off my system, but the scheduled scan does
not run.
