Schedule Task

I have schedule a Defrag to run, but the defrag was launch as it was suppose
to but, the actual defrag is not performing it's function. I have to click on
the defrag option in order for this to run.

that you can add as a scheduled task that will defrag your hard drive(s).

Use the command line tool defrag.exe.
Example:
defrag.exe C:\
