Scanning postage stamps for measurement purposes

I am looking for a scanner that will scan the exact size of a postage
stamp and superimpose measurement grids in mm on it for measurement
identification. Hopfully zoomable also. Can anyone recommend a good
scanner that will do this easilly.

I only have a Cannon MP970 and I can not find a way to measure the
scaned image with it.

Will buy a new scanner if I can find one that will do what I want.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I am a stamp collector,
there is a program called "perfguage"
that seems to marry an image to MSWord
to measure the perforations.
This may suit you.
