scanner installation

this may not be the correct forum, but no one else has answered from the
other forums.
I am trying to install an HP Scanjet 5P on XP Home. It will not install the
WIA drivers. It asks for files from HP. How do I stop this and install the
scanner with WIA drivers please?

You had answers in at least one other newsgroup (which is what these are,
not forums). Did you forget where you posted?
