saving web based images in mail items in Calendar

Dave Horne

Hi, I just saved an e-mail to the calendar and was surprised that the images
(which came from a web site) were not saved along with the e-mail. I then
reopened the e-mail, right clicked on the image holder, downloaded the
images, saved, but when I reopened the e-mail the images were not in fact
saved.

Am I not understanding something? Thanks, Dave Horne

Diane, the original e-mail message is in my InBox. I went to Calendar and
added asn 'Item'. I opened the e-mail, right clicked to download images,
saved, reopened and there were no images. I also clicked on the bar within
the e-mail message to download images, save, etc. ... same issue.

Should I assume this is a non issue ... ? Thanks, Dave Horne

How are saving the message to the calendar? Assuming as an attachment, the
downloaded images are saved to the internet cache, not to the email.

Yes, it's a non-issue - the images are downloaded and kept in the internet
cache.
