Saving to Compute, aaaarrrrrgggg!

Can anyone help? when I try to save my edited movie maker project to my
computer I get a notice that says "cannot save file to specified location,
verify that original source files are still available, enough disk space or
saving location available." I think the problem must be with the source files
because I definitly have enough space and a valid file to save it to. I have
experienced the problem with deleting source files and getting the red X X X
X on the selected audio or video clip, but there is no evidence which file is
unavailable. Is there any way to tell? Or to restore the original source file
locations etc?

Re: your red X's... If you have a movie maker project still going, and you
re-name or move the files used in the movie you will get the red X's... Be
careful, i MOVED ALL MY FILES TO A CD-R AND GOT AN ERROR MESSAGE TRYING TO
TWEEK THE MOVIE ABIT AFTER RE LOADING THE FILES TO MY HARD DRIVE...

I ran into the same problem this past week-end... After checking everything
(sources, targets, disk space) twice and trying again with no success, I
ended up re-importing all my sources (videos and stills) and then the project
saved OK. Hope this helps...

I had a similar message and found that experimenting with the selected video
filters in "Options", "Compatibility" helped my problem. Once I had the
right combination it saved without issue.
