"windows movie maker cannot save the movie to the specific location. verify
that the original source file used in you movie are still available. that
saying the location is still available, and that there is enough free disk
space available. and then try again"

help plz!
i have 18.5G free space on drive C and 655MB on drive D
the file size i saving is around 40MB

What is the movie? Length? What format are you trying to save as?
40mb is very small, are you sure that isn't your project size?
655mb free ona drive is no use, windows needs a good 10% of a drive in free
space to work properly, but your 18.5gb should be fine for such a small
file, but bear in mind you need mrpoe than double the size of your file as
MM will need to amke a temp file as it makes your proper file.
