Saving pictures saved in e-mail.

Sometimes I receive pictures in e-mails and would like to save them. I can
only save them as a .bmp. How can I save a .gif as a .gif or a .jpeg as a
..jpeg? Such as an animation that has to be a .gif.

Not an Outlook question. You need to consult the help files for whatever application you are using as your default image viewer.
