saving picture locally from HTML

New to Front Page and Web in general.

I copied a web page from a site. I pasted it into Front Page, added some of
my own stuff etc. etc. Within the page I pasted was a .jpg image. It came
over during my cut and paste but not as a seperate .jpg, but only as a URL
link in the HTML code at o:href . . . .

Is there a way to get this image to be 'imported' into my local web site so
this link is not in my html code?

Thanks in advance

The image should be originally stored in some location on your hard drive.
With your local FP web open, File | Import the image into a folder, such as
images. Then, on the page you want the image on, insert the picture and
save, then publish to your remote site.

You must first save the page from the web site to your HD, then import page and folder into FP.
