Saving Photos To CD after Rotating.

I am using windows XP and want to save photos to CD. I am able to save all
Photos after loading from camera, but any that have been Rotated come out as
error messages when displayed on my DVD player. Can Rotated Pictures be saved
To CD and still be played on a DVD. Thanks for any help in advance. Rob.

How are you rotating the images? Have
you tried rotating them in an image editing
program?

Thankyou John, I am rotating Pictures in the My Pictures Folders Right Click
on each Photo then Left click Rotate Picture Clockwise or Counter Clockwise.
Also tried rotation within HP image zone which came with my HP printer,This
just rotates photo's in My Pictures anyway.

Sorry, but I cannot recall seeing this issue
previously reported.

Is your system fully updated from the MS
Update site?

Once again, I would suggest using an image
editor to rotate the images. If you don't have
an editor you could try using MS Paint.
Start / All Programs / Accessories / Paint

Maybe it would be worth a try to contact tech
support for your camera...maybe it's a known
issue.

Maybe your issue with viewing rotated images
from a DVD could be related to the problems
described in the following article.

Do try to find a program that will rotate pictures *losslessly*.
I have always used PIE (Picture Information Extractor for this
purpose, and this is the only exception I make to saving a transformed
picture as a new filename.

I rotate pictures losslessly and resave them over the originals.
All EXIF information is preserved, and the file sizes and its
creation date are the same.
