Saving Envelopes and labels

When I had MS Works and MS Word 97 I could from MS works
save my labels and envelopes. Also control the number of
labels I wanted. I have Windows XP amd upgraded to MS
Works suite 2003 where I find I can not open any of my
previous Works docs - they transfer to MS Word where I now
can't save any new labels or envelopes. I now can only
print one label or an entire sheet. Is there any remedy
for this?

Didn't we already answer this question? You can create a full sheet of
labels by pressing the New Document button in the Labels dialog. The labels
are set up as a table, so be sure you have table gridlines displayed (Table
| Show Gridlines). You can save this document with your choice of content or
empty, as a template.

Creating an envelope document or template is a bit harder. You can use the
Add to Document button in the Envelopes dialog, but then your envelope is
stuck to a "letter." You can detach it (see
http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/Formatting/WorkWithSections.htm), but it's
usually easier to see how it's set up and then transfer these settings to a
new document/template using the envelope paper size. For more on this, see
http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/Formatting/EnvelopeFormat.htm.
