Saving Embedded pics as jpgs

Currently Outlook is only allowing me to save embedded pictures as bmps.
I am not given the option of changing the file type to jpg, gif, etc.

How do I go about solving this?
I seem to remember someone saying that it had something to do with faulty
activex controls....

hi, i have this same problem too, i used this method but it only solved 1/2
of it bcoz when i SaveAttachment, only 1 "none" appeared in the sub-menu n
therefore only the 1st picture could be saved, any solutions? thx

without seeing a sample of what you are receiving, there really is no way of
knowing what the sample code can or cannot handle.

Ive sorted the problem.


internet explorer>tools>internet options>general tab>temporary internet
files>settings>view objects>delete any dodgy looking objects.

is not suitable for multiple embedded images? tkx...

for the most part it should work fine until you receive a message with
different embedded pictures with the same filename.
