Saving Emails and Extra Folder Microsoft Outlook 2007

How does one stop Microsoft Outlook 2007 from saving an extra folder with the
email save name and the files colorschememapping.xml, themedata.thmx and
filelist.xml in the folder when one saves an email individually. I do not
want this option on as we typically save all our emails individually and if
we did this would end up in a LOT of useless folders (with the same 3 files
in it). All I want to do is save an email as a txt or htm. Nothing more
nothing less.

Thanks

Mike

Well that wasn't vey helpful considering there are only a few options to save
the file as. Can you explain what you mean? Is there some sort of property
that can disable the feature? The extra files I mentioned serve no purpose
whatsoever. Please explain because office 2003 never had the same issue.

I meant what I said - if you save as HTML, you will get those files and
can't avoid it. Any of the other formats, including MHT, will not create
the folder. Outlook 2003 didn't do it, but 2007 (and Vista) do. Yes, its
annoying as heck and hard to break the link between the files so you can
delete the folder.
