I am a newby at this. I have some pictures that I need to send. How do I
save the picture as a JPEG to send via email?

Do you have image editing software?

Any editing program that will open the
images should be able to...Save As /
JPEG. Even....MS Paint.
(Start / All Programs / Accessories / Paint)

What format are the pictures in now?

If you open the image in an image editor
you should be able to go to...File / Save As...
and choose JPEG.

If you do not have editing software...try using
MS Paint...
Start / All Programs / Accessories / Paint

To send in an e-mail message...right click
an image file and from the menu...choose...
Send To / Mail Recipient.
