Hello,

I am using Window Xp & Outlook 2003. Previously to save any attachment recd
in email was much faster & now it takes long time. If I have to save a file
in sub/ sub-folder in main folder, every time I select folder (msg on top of
outlook is "not responding"), if i wait for 30-40 sec, it select, again if I
select sub-folder same thing happens for 30-40 sec. Thanks in advance for
support & help.

Best regards,
AK

Depending on your account type, the attachment may still be located on
the mail server. If the connection is bad (Outlook not responding), then
it may take a long time to transfer the attachment from the mail server
to the save destination.

I have the same problem on both my desktop and laptop. Used to work great before and now can take up to 10 minutes to save a file from an email message. I checked and the file was downloaded from the server. Just for the heck of it I went to my web mail to get a message and do a save as which does requires a download, and it is ten to twenty times faster than saving it from my hard drive.

I also tried to do a save as the same way with my office XP and it does the same thing. If I save a file from any other non Microsoft office product, it works great.

Anybody have any ideas?

Biggest problem is that when I try to Open/Save (download) e-mail
attachments the 'File download' pop-ip indicates that it is download the
desired file, but it hust kepps going and going...with no success.
