just insstructions to 'save"

Your computer treats a removable diskette as a specific location on your
computer. Go to 'File' and then 'Save as'. This will bring up a display box.
In the drop down box at the op, select 'My computer' From here you should now
see a list of all your hard drives, as well as the disc (assuming you have it
in your computer). Double click on the drive with the disc, and then save
your file there.

OR

If your trying to save onto a CD, you'll have to use your computer's CD
burner to put the file onto your CD.

Hope this helps!

Do you have a cd/dvd writer on your laptop? If so use the program that came
with it to add a data file (the excel file). Better, get a cheap USB flash
drive and use that instead. Note that always use these drives just to
transport files between computer, do not work on a file while it's on a
removable drive, it will corrupt the file
