Saving a template in Frontpage

When I bring up a template to Frontpage and set it up
with photo's for a slide show and check preview,
everything looks fine.

When I try to save the updated template I get the message
that I have to log on to a frontpage web site. My web
site was created using Frontpage but I am still unable to
save any changes made.

I would appreciate any help.

You must at all time use File Menu | Open Web / Site when you want to work on your web site content,
whether the site is on your local machine or live/remote server.

Standard templates, do not update any pages that were created from it when it is updates. You must
have FP2003, disk-based web and using Dynamic Web Templates.
