Saved .mswmm project won't open

Hope I can explain my problem---I made a slide show using .jpg's with wmm,
added titles, transitions, fades in--fades out even added music fades
in-out.
It worked great. Now here we go---first I saved it as .mswmm project to a
folder then e-mailed it to my home. It opended at home but the timeline was
missing the photos and music--just had a series of red X. titles and
transitions are there.
I then copied the file on a jump drive app 500k plugged it in at home aand
got same results. My office machine and home machine both run Win 2k and
same ver of movie maker. One last thing---machine at office (Dell). when I
plug in jump drive it reads just fine. Thank's in advance

but Movie Maker doesn't run on Win 2k systems.... it's for Win Me and
XP....??

PJ correct me if I'm wrong, aside from the W2K vs WXP OSs, but reading his
message he copied the project file but not the individual .jpgs. Does he
not also have to copy the .jpg files as well as any music files to the new
computer to have the project file work?

No, not to have the project file open in Movie Maker.... and support editing
of it.... as long as he doesn't mind red-Xs for the missing source files.

That's what he did.
Papajohn's right in that the project will still open, and John said it was
opening, but you also need the source files if you intend to complete the
project and/or see the results of your editing at home.
But I am still curious about WMM running on Win2K.
