Saved File

I was working on a word document that I had sent myself via email. However I
never once saved it on mydocs or anything of that sort, instead i just
"saved". Now I can't find the file, instead I can only find the file I saved
a few days ago, one with no revisions (the one i just "saved" was a
masterpiece.

Did I really "save" it anywhere or is that temporary file gone for forever?

On my machine, files opened directly from emails are saved in C:\Documents
and settings\[user name]\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\OLK11A
