Docx file- Can't find in my saved files in Windows 2002

Last week I was sent a .docx file (my resume someone had critiqued). I was
able to open it, I made changes, and saved as a .docx file in my Word 2002.
I have now gone to open the file and can't find it in my saved files. Can
anyone suggest how I might find the file? Help!!!

You should never open Word attachments directly from e-mail - however it
*may* be possible to recover your changes. See
