Saved Addresses?

When I start to enter an e.mail address as I create a new message a list of
addresses appear of, it seems, every e.mail address I've every sent to or
received a message from. Very, very few are in my address book so these are
saved elsewhere. But where? And how do I delete them? Thanks--

Actually that's exactly the feature I want. I love autocomplete but I don't want all those
addresses going into my Address Book. How do is that possible?

Autocomplete NEVER adds addresses to your Contacts folder. The "Address Book"
contains nothing. It is a view of your Contacts folder.

Does OE offer Autocomplete? What about Windows Live Mail or Outlook? Its a mighty handy feature.

OE references the Windows Address Book and has a form of autocompletion that
does reference the address book. I don't send mail with WLM. I've already
described Outlook's autocompletion. I don't understand why you asked again.
