address book

I am currently using Outlook 2002, and was wondering if it is possible to
view the email addresses that come up as a choice when you type the first few
letters of the address. I have never added these addresses as entries in
Contacts. They are just email addresses that I frequently use. I have
access to a Global Address List and Common Contacts that were set up by our
network administrator. When I searched the help regarding address books, it
says "when you type a name in the To, CC, Bcc box of an email message,
Outlook automatically checks to see if the name you typed matches a name in
the Address Book. If there is a match, the name is displayed." This is what
happens for addresses that I have sent previous emails; however I cannot
access the address book that these reside on.

Thanks,

It's a local nickname cache stored in the .nk2 file. You won't be able
to read that file (it isn't text).

There are utilities to let you dig inside the .nk2 file. See:

They do not resided in a visible/accessible address book, they are in a
cache otherwise known as the nk2 file
