Save as html

I save PowerPoint presentations as a web page, which
creates an html file along with a folder. The PowerPoint
html file and folder is published to a website. The
website is:
http://www.roundrockisd.org/mcneil/band/pictures/2003-
2004/2003-marching/marching-2003_files/slide0001.htm
Some people can see the presentation slides on the web,
and some can't. The people that can't see the PowerPoint
slides on the web have Internet Explorer 6.0. Do they
need the PowerPoint Viewer to view the PowerPoint web
(htm) pages?
Does anyone else have this problem or have any idea why
some people can't view the web presentation?

I'm using IE6, and I can see the slide you sent. If your presenting your link as you did in the NG, than I can see why people cannot view your presentation.

When you published your presentation, PowerPoint should have created as single file <yourpres.html> and a folder called <yourpres_files>. You need to upload the file and the folder to your website, then create a link to <yourpres.html> The pathname you have provided, more than likely exceeds the file resource limits on the machines that cannot view the file.

Most people can see the following Powerpoint slideshow on
the web, but some people cannot:
http://www.roundrockisd.org/mcneil/band/pictures/2003-
2004/2003-marching/marching-090503_files/frame.htm
When I published my presentation, PowerPoint saves it
using frames, and creates a single file <pres.html> and a
folder called <pres_files>, which were uploaded to the
website. Then a link was created to the file <pres.html>.
The people that have problems viewing the PowerPoint
presentation on the web can see the left frame and the
title at the top of the right frame, but they can't see
any picture below the title in the right frame. They are
using IE6. Is there some type of browser setting that is
causing them not to see the picture? Anyone have any
ideas?

Michael is probably right that the long path names are causing some of the
problems. Another thing you can investigate is how the people who can't see
the pictures are accessing the web. Check whether the people who can't see
the pictures on dial-up. They may not be waiting long enough for the
pictures to appear. I am on a cable modem, so saw the pictures. Since
several of them took a few seconds to come up, I am wondering if people on
slower machines might not be waiting long enough.

I'm inclined to agree with Kathy. You might also make your link to the single
file (pres.html) rather than to the file called frame.html. Also make sure that
the users have their java script turned on in IE.
