Press s to specify additional device, insert floppy, usually at the next
screen one
needs to select the controller for SATA,you dont want it to simply install
drivers,
also at that time you select controller and operating system. So you'd
select xp
and controller,at the next screen select s (again),you should see it
loading the
drivers,at next screen press enter. Also, read the owners manual and configure
SATA in the BIOS,usually thiers 3 areas one has to configure,add-in
device,boot
device,enable SATA.

Enable SATA in BIOS; you might have 2 further options under SATA: IDE or
Raid - pick IDE for one SATA.
Reboot, enter BIOS angain, and check that your drive is detected as SATA in
BIOS. If it is, make it the boot drive - also in BIOS.
While setting boot order, make it: 1. DVD/CD-Rom, 2. Sata, 3 Floppy. Note:
you might have an option to pick your boot device by pressing a certain key
(say, F8) at boot without entering BIOS setup.
Next, insert the XP Install CD and the SATA drives floppy.
At XP "F6 screen" just press F6 and pick the correct option from the ones XP
detects on floppy - ex, INTEL SATA comes in one pack for ICH5R, ICH6 etc.
Leave the floppy in the drive after the first XP reboot - it will copy the
drivers then.

Make it the boot drive
