SATA HD F6 without floppy

DUN1

i've a new Compaq 7000 Series...

Windows XP is damaged, (faulty Hard Drive after 1 month of life...)

i buyed new one, but Hp /compaq don't give XP cd MORE.

Win xp sp2 don't detect Hard Drive.

I tryed

1) using a pen drive

2) using an external USB Floppy (SxNY)

3) tried also slipstreaming with HP DRIVERS

Why Sata causes so many hassles?

Can't MS include them all in a Driver RAID SCSI PATCH downloadable or
slipstreamable ???

I AM STOPPED. Help

I'm puzzled;
You have a new Compaq, and after 1 month you buy !? a new hd to replace the
faulty one?
Surely a warranty claim?

You used the recovery cd's?

Otherwise a usb floppy should work, if your sys supports it, or the
*correct* sata/raid drivers slipstreamed into an install cd

Yes after 1 month the notebook was broken (HD fault)
the hd was in warranty state, but to gain time i installed XP
in another HD SATA 2.5" that i've.

With external USB floppy i solve the problem, not without pain:
in the right usb the floppy didn't work, cause
windows detect usb hardware and in my opinion give them USB 0 A USB 1 B USB
2 D
ecc..

The USB FLOPPY WORKS ONLY attacched on FIRST PHISICAL USB.
