Just found and downloaded. I haven't installed it yet. Maybe after work
tonight. Thought it looked interesting.

"Sandboxing occurs at the lowest level of system operation, and is not
at all limited to Internet Explorer. You can use Sandboxie to run any
program".
I almost missed that. The example appears to imply that it must be
started from IE. Hmmm.

I wonder how Sandboxie will interact with other security software that
also operates at a fairly low level? There is a noticable lack of
documentation.

"Sandboxie, version 1.1 Beta, is provided free of any charges for
non-commercial use only ..."

Nice find, burnr.

I didn't have any luck with this. Crashed the first time, but I thought
that could have been my fault with how I used it. Re-boot and try again,
no crash but it didn't seem to work. I cleared the IE cache, cookies,
temp files and re-booted. Then started the sandbox, surfed to a site I
knew used cookies, closed IE and used the sandboxes "clean sandbox
contents" and restarted. Opened IE and looked and bummer, the cookies
from my surfing with sandbox were still there. :(

I posted my experience at the authors message boards. I'll be keeping an
eye on this one as I can see it would be very useful if it worked as
intended.
