Safely Remove Hardware Icon

My SRH Icon button has disappeared! I installed picture project on computer
- had no problems transferring my pictures to computer, etc., but when
finished and wanting to "unplug" I can no longer find the icon to safely
remove the hardware.
Does that mean I can remove it?

you may just have it set to 'always hide' in system tray. Right click an
empty spot on the taskbar>properties>hide inactive buttons>customize> and
see what you have it set for.
